Kona Coffee
When thinking of Hawaii, coffee may not be the first thing that comes to mind. However, the unique Kona coffee grown in the Kona region of Hawaii is a product of the mild tropical climate and rich volcanic soils, resulting in a medium-bodied, flavorful blend. Kona coffee is only grown in the northern and southern parts of the mountainous region, and the growers, who are mostly related to each other, hand-pick and process each bean to ensure its distinct aroma and flavor. The Peaberry bean, which only produces one bean instead of two, is used to create a superior blend of Kona coffee with a more intense and concentrated flavor. Kona coffee is a true exotic delicacy.
